•How is fabric quality specified - thread count or something else?
Russian mills specify surface density in grams per square meter and the weave type (calico, percale, satin) rather than thread count. As a rough guide, hotel-grade percale runs around 110-125 g/m2. Ask for both the g/m2 figure and a fabric swatch; together they tell you more than a thread-count number alone.

Sewing from in-stock white fabric typically starts around 100-300 sets, depending on the factory. Custom-dyed fabric or woven logos raise the minimum to roughly 500-1,000 sets. From confirmed order and advance payment, sewing typically takes 25-45 days depending on volume and season. Add about a week for export formalities, then transit: 10-20 days overland to Central Asia, or 30-45 days by sea via Novorossiysk or St. Petersburg to the Gulf, East Africa or Latin America.
