Purpose: Bunker BV-40, capacity 50 cubic metres, is designed for ventilation (cooling), operational storage of grain. It is used at agricultural, procurement and grain-processing enterprises. Structural features: The hopper consists of a roof, cylindrical body, internal ventilation shaft, fan, cone base at an angle of 45 degrees and supports. The hopper is loaded through a spigot in the centre of the roof.
Discharging is via the centre opening in the cone base (with manual slide valve). Unloading is carried out into a conveyor or a vehicle, depending on the height of the hopper supports. Advantages: By cooling the grain in the BW hoppers, it can be dried to a moisture content of 15-15.5%. The dryer works only on heating, its productivity increases.
In the hoppers the moisture content of the grain is reduced to 2%. By this technology, the qualitative indicators of grain (growth and germination energy) increase.
