Polyethylene tanks are used for storage of various liquids: water for firefighting needs, rain, domestic and industrial wastewater, various technical liquids in production, chemicals that do not have a destructive effect on polyethylene.
Structurally, the tank is a horizontal tank made of spirally twisted polyethylene pipe, equipped with service necks to which hatches with lockable covers are welded. The tank is also equipped with steel ladders coated with anticorrosive composition. A double wall made of PE63 sheets is built at the ends of the tank to reinforce the rigidity of the structure, stiffening ribs are welded between the sheets. For air exchange in the tank, natural ventilation with natural induction is provided in the form of vertical polyethylene spigots equipped with galvanised round umbrellas to prevent foreign objects from entering the tank.
