Software and hardware complex (PAC) made in the form of on-board electronic digital computers based on 32-bit microcontrollers with ARM core and specialised software. The main purpose is to determine the outreach, in particular the telescopic boom of a hoisting crane, through measurement and provision of input data for calculation.
Measurement is made for several physical quantities simultaneously: length of displacement and angle of inclination of various mechanisms with subsequent two-way data transmission via wire line to remote parts of the control system or on-board computer machine. The hardware of the PAC is based on a microcontroller, accelerometer, magnetic encoder and cable reel.The microcontroller calculates the angle of inclination of the BSM relative to the gravitational vertical and the amount of cable etching from the reel by calculating the angle of rotation and the number of full revolutions of the reel, as well as converts the angle of inclination and length into a digital code
