Belt elevators are designed for vertical movement of grain and its products at elevators and enterprises of flour and feed industry, as well as other bulk products in various industries. The elevators have a vertically closed traction element in the form of a belt with buckets rigidly attached to it.
The undercarriage and turning devices of the elevator are housed in a closed metal casing consisting of an upper part (head), middle sections (pipes) and a lower part (shoe). The bulk cargo is fed into the loading spigot (toe) of the lower part of the elevator, loaded into the buckets, lifted into them and discharged under the action of centrifugal force on the upper drum into the spigot of the upper part of the elevator.
The drive is equipped with a stop to prevent backward movement of the undercarriage. For the convenience of belt mounting, fixing and replacement of buckets the mounting elevator pipe with longitudinal split is used.
