FAQ

What information do I need to provide for a quotation?
Four things: the two media (for example water/water or steam/oil), inlet and outlet temperatures on both sides, flow rates, and maximum working pressure. With these, the factory runs a thermal calculation and proposes a specific plate pack or tube bundle with documented performance margins.
Can a Russian plate exchanger replace an existing European unit?
In most cases yes, as a functional replacement matched to the same duty point and connection sizes. Suppliers do not copy proprietary plates, but they will size an equivalent unit and adapt flange positions where possible. Send the old unit's datasheet or nameplate photo for the fastest match.
What about gaskets and spare plates later on?
Gaskets and plates for the supplier's own models are stocked at the factory and ship worldwide by courier. A prudent practice for remote sites is ordering a gasket set and several spare plates with the unit itself — the added cost is small compared with downtime.
Are the exchangers pressure-tested and documented?
Yes. Units are hydraulically tested at the plant and shipped with a technical passport recording test pressure, materials and serial number, plus an EAC declaration where applicable. For oil and gas or municipal tenders, additional weld and material certificates can be arranged at order stage.
How fast can a custom-calculated unit be delivered?
Typical production time is 20 to 45 days after the thermal calculation is approved, depending on size and materials. Small brazed units often ship from stock. Add roughly two weeks of trucking to Central Asia or four to six weeks of sea freight to the Gulf, Africa or Latin America.
