Russian factories ship beads in vacuum-sealed PE bags inside the cover — refill bag (5-10L) is standard accessory for projects.
•What outer fabric should I choose for outdoor poufs?
For outdoor and pool areas use 600D polyester with PU coating (waterproof 1000 mm H2O) or marine-grade acrylic (Sunbrella-class) with UV resistance 1500+ hours. Indoor: velour, microfibre, faux leather. Russian factories test fabrics to GOST 30157 colorfastness — request the test report before bulk order.
•Are poufs available with removable washable covers?
Yes — virtually all models have full-perimeter YKK zipper covers, machine-washable at 30°C. Inner liner with EPS stays untouched. For hospitality projects we offer a second matching cover (MOQ 50) to rotate during laundry cycles. Specify zipper colour and brand (YKK vs SBS) in your PO.

Standard sizes: small pouf 200L (1 child), medium 320L (1 adult), large bean bag 450L (1 adult + child), XXL lounge 600L (2 adults). Seat capacity 80-150 kg. EPS density 11 g/l for soft sit, 15 g/l for firm support. Specify body weight target in your inquiry — affects bead grade choice.
•How are poufs packed and shipped to reduce container volume?
Poufs ship in vacuum-compressed bags inside flat cartons — saves 70-80% of container volume vs pre-filled. Customer fills locally with EPS beads (supplied separately or sourced regionally). One 40HQ container fits 400-600 compressed poufs vs 80-120 pre-filled. Cover-only shipment is also possible for buyers who source EPS locally.
•Are fire-retardant fillers and fabrics available?
Yes. FR-treated EPS beads (Crib 5 / BS 5852) and FR fabrics (EN 1021-1/2) are available with surcharge ~15-20%. Mandatory for UK hospitality, EU public spaces, and increasingly required in MENA hotels. Request the test report bundle (FR cert + Martindale + colorfastness) attached to commercial invoice.
