Purpose
Universal fire dampers KPU® are designed for automatic closing of ventilation ducts or openings in enclosing building structures and for installation of fire protection valves.
ventilation ducts or openings in building envelopes, and are installed in
systems of general exchange ventilation, air conditioning, exhaust and supply smoke ventilation,
as well as systems for removal of gas and smoke after fire from premises protected by gas, aerosol or powder fire extinguishers,
aerosol or powder fire extinguishing systems.
According to their functional purpose they are used as:
. Normally open - KPU-1H-O EI 90, KPU-2H-O EI 120, KPU-3-O EI 180.
. Normally closed - KPU-1H-Z EI 90, KPU-2H-Z EI 120, KPU-3-Z EI 180 .
. Normally closed - KPU-DD-R EI 15, KPU-3-DD-R EI 180 (for application according to SP 7.13130.2013 p.
7.13 b) .
. Smoke - KPU-1H-D E 90, KPU-2H-D E 120, KPU-3-D E 180 .
. Double-acting - KPU-DD-P EI 15, KPU-DD-R EI 1 .
