The cable contains a central optical module with loosely laid fibres. The space in the optical module is filled with hydrophobic gel.
An armour of steel wires is spirally applied to the central optical module. The free space between the wires is filled with hydrophobic gel.
The armour is longitudinally overlaid with water-blocking and aluminopolymer tapes. An intermediate sheath of polyethylene and armour of steel wires is placed on top of the tape.
The free space between the wires is filled with hydrophobic gel. The armour is overlaid with a medium density polyethylene sheath.
