Fabrics are made of Ruslan® aramid yarns with a linear density of 29.4 tex. Ruslan® aramid yarns are synthetic fibres produced from aromatic copolyamide by moulding from low-concentration polycondensation solutions. The main properties of aramid yarns are high tensile strength and modulus of elasticity, high thermal and chemical resistance. This provides wear and bending resistance, lightness, durability, increased corrosion resistance to products made with the use of aramid yarns.
The fabric is produced by plain weave: warp and weft threads are interwoven through each thread and the appearance of the fabric resembles a chessboard pattern.
