Unlike common Chinese and Japanese impact wrenches, the Spirit impact wrench has a closed lubrication system not only for the gearbox but also for the impact mechanism. As a result, during strenuous work, liquid oil effectively washes the impacting parts of the striker and anvil, dissipates excessive heat, preserving strength and preventing wear.
During maintenance, it is not necessary to change the oil in the gearbox separately, clean out the thick grease and then flush the striker mechanism. It is sufficient to drain the oil and pour in new oil as in the car crankcase.
High-quality steels with high impact toughness are used in the manufacture of the impact mechanism parts. A complex heat treatment cycle is carried out, with surface carbon saturation providing an optimal combination of high hardness of the outer parts of the striker and anvil and elasticity of the inner parts.
