SPP-3 parachutist-firefighter outfit is designed to protect the head and body of the parachutist when performing parachute jumps on unprepared open areas and areas of forest, the parachutist's descent from a tree, giving the parachutist's body positive buoyancy in case of getting into water, as well as to remove the parachute dome when the parachutist or cargo hangs on a tree.
Provides:
- Reliable protection of the parachutist's head and body in case of impacts against tree trunks and limbs, bushes and other objects.
- Protection of the parachutist's head and body for at least 15 seconds from direct fire impact.
- Freedom of movement of the parachutist on the ground, in the aircraft and in the air when controlling the parachute.
- Safe descent from a height not exceeding 25 metres in case the parachutist hangs in a tree crown.
