Both. The engineering heritage is cold-weather, but the same frame strength and fabric durability serve hot regions — many models offer ventilation panels, light-colored or reflective outer fabrics and mesh layers. For desert use specify UV exposure and wind load; manufacturers will recommend fabric and guy-line configurations accordingly. Insulated winter models are a separate line.
•What is a pneumatic-frame tent and why choose one?
Pneumatic tents replace rigid poles with inflatable beams: the shelter erects in minutes with a pump, needs fewer people to deploy, and has no frame parts to lose or bend.
