The fan casing made of galvanised steel provides reliable protection against corrosion. A service cover is available for all sizes of Kanal-PKV.

The service cover is necessary for direct access to the impeller and motor during installation or maintenance of the fan. Noise-insulated casing distinguishes Kanal-PKV-SH from the standard series.

The casing is made of galvanised steel and is a box construction. The space between the walls of the noise-insulated casing is filled with non-flammable wool, which is characterised by high sound insulation properties.

Impellers of Kanal-PKV-SH duct fans with forward curved blades are made of galvanised steel and undergo thorough static and dynamic balancing.

Asynchronous single- or three-phase electric motors with external rotor are characterised by low power consumption and significant service life.
