Earthing plates ZR-220 kV are designed for earthing of power lines at rated voltage 220 kV.

Earthing switches are produced in single-pole and three-pole version, the earthing switch is operated by motor drive PD-14. Earthing switches can be supplied with supporting metal structures.

ZR is a chopping type earthing switch.

Main technical characteristics:

- rated voltage - 220 kV;

- rated current - 315 A;

- nominal frequency - 50 Hz;

- rated short-term withstand current (thermal resistance current) - 31,5(40) kA;

- the highest peak of rated short-term withstand current (electrodynamic resistance current) - 80(100) kA;
