Yes, and you should insist on it. Russian domestic sizes differ from Gulf, European and US hotel formats, but factories cut to order, so supplying your exact dimensions for sheets, duvet covers and pillowcases costs nothing extra. Send a simple size table with the inquiry and ask for it to be repeated on the proforma invoice.
•How is fabric quality specified - thread count or something else?
Russian mills specify surface density in grams per square meter and the weave type (calico, percale, satin) rather than thread count. As a rough guide, hotel-grade percale runs around 110-125 g/m2. Ask for both the g/m2 figure and a fabric swatch; together they tell you more than a thread-count number alone.

Sewing from in-stock white fabric typically starts around 100-300 sets, depending on the factory. Custom-dyed fabric or woven logos raise the minimum to roughly 500-1,000 sets.
