Information and warning signs of the IPZ.PTM.2 type are intended for designation of trunk pipelines facilities and their protection zones, as well as for indication of kilometres, boundary and other marks on trunk pipelines facilities.
Information and warning signs are manufactured in accordance with the requirements of PJSC Transneft OTT-75.200.00-KTN-0412-22 "Trunk pipeline transport of oil and petroleum products. SIGNS. SIGN BOARDS. General technical requirements".
The design of IPZ.PTM.2 consists of a stand made of unplasticised PVC quadrilateral with a side of 200 mm type 2 for buried installation in the ground, a signal cap (plug) and an anchoring device preventing free removal from the ground. Information and warning signs can be completed with a kilometre sign, information boards, coastal navigational information signs and signal lights, a device for fastening the post in poorly bearing soils, etc..
