Central gateway between networks is designed to transfer information between vehicle network segments in which devices work with different application protocols of the upper level, creating hierarchical networks based on CAN buses, acting as a traffic router of data transmission system between vehicle network segments, data exchange between electronic units on seven network segments (Telematics-CAN, Cabin-CAN, Exterior-CAN, Chassis-CAN, Entertainment-CAN, LIN, Diagnostic-CAN for diagnostics, programming, parameterisation, testing), data transmission from network to network in real time. The CS is designed for installation in the car interior in a place protected from direct ingress of water, oils, aggressive environment, direct mechanical impact.
