MR-2 is a direct acting composite safety diaphragm, which consists of one or more metal sections with through radial slots, sealing element made of fluoroplastic film and standard gaskets. This diaphragm has been designed for installation between flanges with a smooth sealing surface.
It is tensile, pressure acting on a flat or concave surface, excellent for low to medium pressure static loading applications. Actuates in thousandths of a second without the formation of metal fragments, a simple and reliable solution for a variety of applications, suitable for liquid and gaseous media.
When installed in the P type mounting assembly, it can be supplied without standard gaskets.
