The elastic coupling MPPG-02 is designed to transfer rotation to the generator shaft as part of the drive of a subcarriage generator with a capacity of 32 kW from the middle part of the bogie wheelset axle with a maximum speed of up to 160 km/hour in a passenger car. In case of overload in the car power supply system, it ensures the breakage of mechanical connection between the gearbox and the generator.
