Fuel metering unit BUT-R1 is designed to receive information about the level, temperature and density of fuel in the fuel tank, to receive signals from mechanisms of special self-propelled rolling stock or diesel locomotive, to convert the repetition rate of electrical impulses from the sensor installed on the shaft of diesel-generator set into shaft speed values, to process the information received from sensors, to display the results of processing, as well as to receive and decipher navigation messages from the satellite constellation.
