The AL-1000 aspirator is designed for use in research laboratories to remove liquids (traces of reagents and other laboratory materials) from tubes, plates, various containers and from surfaces during laboratory operations. The aspirator is equipped with a 1 litre glass vessel with an overfill sensor to prevent the trap flask from overfilling and damaging the filter with collected liquid.
Aspiration is possible with a 200 µl single-channel tip. The aspiration microbiological filter is hydrophobic and traps particles larger than 0.22 µm, which prevents pathogenic viruses, bacteria or other infectious particles from leaving the trap flask with 99.9% efficiency.
