The tank wagon model 15-9541-01 is designed for transporting liquefied hydrocarbon gases on mainline railways of 1520 mm gauge.
The unique tank car design consists of two boilers connected by the SAC-1 RUS freight car coupling unit, which ensures unobstructed passage of curved track sections, including those with a small radius. The length of the wagon along the coupling axes is 24 040 mm, the length of one section is 12 020 mm. The design of the coupling device provides unobstructed passage of both single articulated wagon and coupling with typical wagons along straight and curved sections of the track, including small radii in accordance with the requirements of the normative documentation.
A significant competitive advantage of the tank car is the extended time between overhaul runs, which ensures the reduction of total costs in the life cycle of the wagon.
