Plyterra Deck laminated plywood is manufactured from FSF birch plywood, which is coated on both sides with a high density paper film impregnated with phenol-formaldehyde resin. The durable smooth phenolic film makes the birch plywood more resistant to mechanical damage and moisture absorption.
The abrasion resistance of Plyterra Deck is confirmed by Taber test. The water resistant phenolic film is available in various colours.
The bright saturated colour of the modified phenolic film does not fade with prolonged exposure to sunlight. The ends of the laminated plywood are treated with acrylic paint.
