High-precision hardness tester TKM-359C is used for on-line measurement of hardness of metal and alloy products, including quality control of heat treatment, hardening, mechanical strength assessment in laboratory, production or field conditions. The device is used for non-destructive quality control of products in metallurgy, mechanical engineering, aircraft construction, shipbuilding, power, nuclear, oil and gas and other industries.
The principle of operation is the Lieb method.
Objects of inspection:
- Basic types of metals and alloys without introducing additional calibrations:
structural and tool corrosion-resistant, heat-resistant, stainless steels and alloys;
alloys of non-ferrous metals, cast irons, aluminium, bronze, brass.
- Surface-hardened and hardened products (cementation, nitriding, HF hardening)
- Products of complex configuration (gear teeth, pipes, shafts)
- Heavy and large-sized objects with rough surfaces (gas pipelines, rails, structural parts).
