Inflatable rafts require inspection and repacking at approved service stations, typically every 12 months. Before buying a raft fleet, confirm with the manufacturer which stations in your region are authorized for their models, or negotiate training and authorization of your own service facility — manufacturers do license overseas stations for fleet customers.
•Can distress pyrotechnics be exported, and how do they ship?
Yes, signal rockets, hand flares and smoke signals are exported regularly, but as Class 1 dangerous goods they require licensed transport, specific packaging and longer documentation lead times.
