•Does packaging type really change the price much?
Yes. A net bag with a hang tag is the cheapest option and suits open-market retail. A printed color box can add a noticeable share to the unit cost on inexpensive items but is usually required by supermarket chains. Many importers split one order across both formats for different channels.
•Can we test durability before ordering a container?
Sample orders are standard practice. Factories ship single cartons by courier or air cargo so you can run your own drop and load checks. Production toys are tested under the EAEU toy safety regulation for mechanical strength, sharp edges and chemical migration, and those protocols are provided with the certificate.
•Are ride-on toys subject to different certification than small cars?
They fall under the same toy safety framework but with additional mechanical requirements for stability and load. Manufacturers state the maximum child weight, typically 25 to 30 kg, in the technical passport.
