The sector view sonar complex is designed for protection of objects from the side of the water area.
In the process of operation the complex provides solution of the following tasks:
- illumination of the underwater situation in the sonar mode;
- detection, determination of coordinates and movement parameters of underwater objects;
- control of technical condition of all system components and localisation of failures with the accuracy of a typical replacement element;
- automated classification of detected underwater objects with the probability of correct classification not less than 0.7;
- automatic tracking of underwater objects.
The complex has several versions (modifications) depending on the required viewing sector in the horizontal plane: 180 deg. and 360 deg..
