These machines are the simplest and inexpensive in the whole range of vertical band saws from MSC. They are designed mainly for manual machining of workpieces, i.e. the workpiece is held and guided to the cutting zone by the operator. It is also possible to use these machines in automatic lines when the workpiece is fed into the cutting zone by a robot.
The machines are designed for cutting steel blocks, sheets, aluminium, brass, copper, mild steel, hard tool steel, stainless steel and sheet metal, for removing sprues and profits from workpieces, as well as for cutting non-metals such as plastics and fibrous materials.
