The oil gathering and injection unit USZN is designed to:
- reducing static pressure by rocking the repaired section of the pipeline to the values allowed for the pumping unit PNU-3;
- filling with pressure-testing fluid and carrying out hydraulic tests of pipelines for tying the PNU-3 pumping unit;
- emptying the pipelines from oil into a tank at the end of pumping operations; - pumping oil out of the repaired section of the pipeline (into a tank or main oil pipeline with a P.R.P. of 10MPa);
- pumping oil from open earthen pits and pumping it into the main oil pipeline with PPA 10MPa;
- collection of oil spills from the relief, pits and injection into the regular tank;
- transportation of collected oil to the place of utilisation;
- operation in explosive zones.
