A quiet pad that simulates the playing of a snare drum. This model has a rim for practising "rim shots".
There are three recesses in the base of the instrument, for mounting the snare drum rack in the "feet" of the basket.
To practise melismas, the CookiePad can be inserted into a 14-inch snare drum and the machine switched on, with the instrument making no noise.
