Drainage pumping stations (DPS) are designed for lifting and pumping melt and rainwater.
Through the supply pipeline, the effluent enters the receiving tank, where the pumping units are installed. To prevent clogging of the pumping equipment, a removable collection basket or a waste crusher can be provided on the supply pipe.
Submersible pumps are mounted on an automatic pipe coupling with the possibility of vertical movement along the guide pipes, which greatly facilitates installation/dismantling and maintenance of the pump units. The pumps are controlled automatically through the control cabinet when signalled by float switches installed inside the CNS.
A typical CNS is equipped with shut-off valves, a ladder and a service platform providing access to the equipment, as well as an air ventilation system.
