The model is designed to teach knot application. The simulator is an ergonomic multifunctional platform with fixators and devices installed on it for practising the skills of tying surgical knots of different complexity:
tying knots on the surface;
tying knots in hard-to-reach places;
tying knots with tension.
The attachments mounted on the platform can be changed depending on the task at hand.
