The presented line allows to significantly reduce financial and time costs due to processing of slabs with a layer of decorative crushed stone in house-building plants and processing of slabs of artificial stone.
Processing is carried out in fully automatic mode under control of SCADA system, in several consecutive stages. The slabs are fed alternately into a line consisting of three bridge polishing machines, two bridge grinding machines and six chain conveyors that transfer the slabs from position to position. On the loading conveyor, the reinforced concrete slab is scanned to determine its dimensions and configuration. Subsequently, the necessary processing is carried out at the working positions. Each grinding machine uses a diamond grinding wheel of a certain grain size, so that the grinding results in the desired decorative surface texture of the processed product.
