The model is an anatomically correct model of the lower part of the human torso with the upper fragments of the thighs with the installed removable external male genital organ. The model is intended for teaching methods of bladder catheterisation. The material of external genitals visually and palpatorily imitates human skin.
Functional features:
the ability to perform the actions of inserting a urinary catheter into the urethra as on a real patient;
the presence of a reservoir for liquid and a special valve imitating the sphincter, which provides realism of the catheterisation procedure;
when the catheter is inserted correctly, fluid starts to flow through the catheter;
the possibility of demonstrating the correct penile position for catheterisation with minimal discomfort for the patient;
the possibility of using the simulator to teach hygiene skills.
