Optical communication cable is designed for transmission of digital communication signals when laid inside buildings, in cable ducts, blocks, special (protective plastic) pipes. The cable has a core of modular construction consisting of a central power element around which optical modules and other elements are twisted.
The optical module can contain optical fibres from 2 to 114 pieces, the intramodular space is filled with hydrophobic filler, the outer sheath is made of polymeric materials.
