NSC couplings are designed for connecting pipelines. All elements of the coupling (except for the elastic seal) are made of stainless material.
Installation of NSC couplings replaces flange and welded connections. When connecting pipes with NSC couplings, significant savings in working time, welding, gasket material, flanges, fasteners and installation space are obtained.
When installing the coupling, less qualified personnel is required and no welder certification is required for pipe welding. The couplings are designed for use in thermal, nuclear, hydroelectric power plants, oil and gas producing, oil and gas processing, petrochemical, chemical, pulp and paper, food and other industries for the needs of the national economy, including application on sea, river vessels and platforms, naval ships, as well as in pipelines of water and foam fire extinguishing systems.
Couplings without anchoring system are installed on fixed pipes.
