Purpose:
The exciter is designed to power the excitation windings of DC motors. The power part of the exciter is made on a single-phase bridge circuit with asymmetrical control of thyristors.
The exciter control system contains a PI current controller. Exciter is made in the form of a single modular construction with a metal shell.
Design features:
-accessibility of inspection and tightening of fastening points of contact connections and component parts (elements) or exclusion of self-unscrewing;
-Possibility to remove components and elements that have failed and are to be replaced without dismantling other components. And also, with partial dismantling, with the help of standard locksmith's tools.
