SSCU ECh LS monitors and controls the electrical equipment of the general plant auxiliary needs of the nuclear power plant and the equipment of the power delivery circuit, including:
- 500 kV and 220 kV switchgear 500 kV and 220 kV switchgear high voltage switches, transmission lines, communication autotransformer, generator-transformer units, shunt reactors;

- switches of voltage regulation devices under load of 500/220 kV communication autotransformer, 220/6.3 kV standby auxiliary transformers.
SCU ECS implements algorithms of synchronisation of switching on high-voltage circuit breakers by the method of semi-automatic synchronisation (from ARM) of two networks and by the method of manual precise synchronisation (from mosaic control panels - MPKU). .
