Central Gateway is an electronic device (router) designed to perform the following functions: transfer of information between segments of the TC network operating at different data transmission speeds, in which devices work with different application protocols of the upper level; creation of hierarchical networks based on CAN and LIN buses; acting as a router of traffic of the data transmission system between segments of the TC network; providing the possibility of data exchange (Telematics-CAN, Cabin-CAN, Exterior-CAN, Chassis-CAN, Entertainment-CAN, LIN1, LIN2, LIN3, Diagnostic-CAN for the purposes of diagnostics, programming, testing);transmission of data from network to network in real time, maintaining the CAN-register mode; support reading of memory records and configuration of CAN-register functions through Diagnostic-CAN by means of UDS commands; ensuring the loading of the routing table; performing the configuration of the exchange rate of each CAN channel.
